Fitting Contact Lenses

If you decide to opt for contact lens wear, it is very important that the lenses fit properly and comfortably and that you understand contact lens safety and hygiene. A contact lens fitting will include evaluation of the general health of corneas, tear film, measurement of the corneal curvature, pupil size to determine suitability for contact lens wear, and prescription for contact lenses. Contact lenses that do not fit properly could cause discomfort, blurry vision, or even damage to the eyes.

One size does not fil all. We prescribe variety of contact lenses, including all types of soft, hard (rigid gas permeable) contact lenses for regular corneas, and specialty contact lenses for irregular corneas, such as keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, and other corneal diseases.
